and well-being for their Nordic employees

Nestlé is the leading company in the world offering a healthcare program to their employees. They are present in 189 countries around the world and has 328,000 employees. Pleaz was implemented at all Nordic locations.

Nestlé’s Nordic market has for the last year been using the first version of the platform. The experience resulted in a better understanding of well-being amongst employees who were working from home or in the office and laid the foundation for the new version of Pleaz’ platform for well-being.

Nestlé Nordic’s health program, NCourager, works with health through different initiatives such as weekly training with elastic bands, and step machines at the desks, and also visits by external trainers.

The main challenge at Nestlé Nordic was to digitalize one collective solution that could support their initiatives. The stakeholders were spending too much time and effort on the preparation and were missing a simple solution available online. In a co-creation process, Pleaz developed the first version of the platform and launched a proof-of-concept together with Nestlé in September 2019.

In the first phase, the product was targeted to meeting rooms, where the teams could use the videos for active breaks.

Due to the Corona restrictions, virtual meetings became essential, and Pleaz made the platform compliant for employees working from home.

Furthermore, Nestlé Nordic also participate in an ongoing research project, which aims to validate the effects of breaks during working hours. The study is conducted by Pleaz and the University of Copenhagen.

The partnership has been very beneficial for both parties. The process until now has been rich on learnings and experiences. In close communication with the Ambassadors in the Ncourager team, Pleaz executed the implementation strategy, which reached 1.000 out of 1.400 individual activations across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway after the first three months.
